Sending Custom Email or SMS to a Customer
DASH allows you to send both automatic (template-based) and manual (custom) messages to customers. This guide explains how to view past communications and send personalized emails or SMS messages.
View Emails and SMS History
Once inside the booking:

Click the Email / SMS button.

- A list of all messages sent to the customer will appear.
- Click View to read any previously sent message.
- If a message includes attached documents, click the attachment to download and view it on your device.
This gives you a complete history of communications with the customer.
Send a Custom Email or SMS
To send a new custom message:

Click Cust. Correspondence.

You will see a summary of all customer communications.
Choose one of the following:
- Send Email - Write and send a custom email.
- Send SMS - Write and send a custom SMS.
DASH offers multiple ways to send automatic emails and SMS messages using ready-made templates. However, the Cust. Correspondence feature allows you to send personalized, custom messages whenever needed.
Always double-check the customer’s email address and phone number before sending, to make sure your message is delivered correctly.
